Colonia Community Support and Outreach

The Rohi Foundation's current ministry focus is in supporting short-term trips to Reynosa Mexico. Trips are scheduled multiple times a year by members of the body of Christ who have decided to step out in faith and obedience, allowing God to work through them to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of the desperately poor.

In the past 24 months and more than 30 trips, the ministry teams have:

• Built 30 homes, housing ~120 people
• Dug a water well for community of 700-800 people
• Constructed 2 community restrooms
• Delivered hundreds of pounds of food
• Conducted pastoral mentoring and suppor to 5 churches in Colonia
• Taught the Gospel & provided bibles to residents of the colonia
• Evangelized through community activities (movie nights, barbeques, home visits, etc)

Federal Prision Outreach and Funding

The ROHI Foundation is sponsoring an outreach and funding ministry with the Reynosa Federal Prison in Reynosa. Approximately 1,200 inmates in the Federal Prison are creating woodworking items to sell in support of their families. The ROHI Foundation is raising funds for woodworking tools and materials for these inmates.
