Trip Lodging

The RHOI ministry teams stay at Big Heart Orphanage or Casa Hogar Corazon Grande.  Big Heart is a boarding school/orphanage and home to approximately 21-25 elementary aged children  and a handful of full time and volunteer staff.  The orphanage is located one block away from the colonia.  In the last year a second site that houses their school, gymnasium, another large kitchen/dining area and additional rooms.   

Both locations have separate men and women dormitory style rooms that will accommodate approximately 10-20 people.  Each facility is equipped with bunk beds,  showers, toilets and air conditioning.   Big Heart provides bedding and towels but recommend you bring a sleeping bag, or sheet/blanket and pillow.  Additionally, there is a large kitchen and dining room that  accommodates 40+ people a time.
